Destino – “Tanos” 1

In italiano: necessità che sembra determinare gli eventi e che appare esterna e superiore alla volontà dell’uomo (in english…fate, en français le destin).
En español: lugar a donde va dirigido alguien, una persona, o algo, un buque (in italiano posto dove ci si dirige, in english…destination, en français la destination).
Roberto Curia, nato a Buenos Aires nel 1962, fotografato nel suo caffè preferito “El destino”. “L’Italia – dice – ce l’ho nel cuore e nel sangue”. Uno dei milioni di “tanos” d’Argentina. “Tanos” project 1.

El torito de mataderos y…Julio Cortazar

A family is lunching under a mural making a tribute o “El torito de Mataderos”. The “bull of Mataderos” (Matadors is a Buenos Aires typical neighborhood), Justo Suarez was a popular Argentine light weight boxer who died at 29 years old. His huge popularity was widely greater than his professional achievements as a fighter. Suárez was the first sportsman that became an idol, having gained popularity in Argentina during the decade of the 1930s. Julio Cortazar dedicated him a tale: “Torito”. Buenos Aires.
