30/4/77

30th of April 2017, 40 years from the first march organized the 30th of April 1977 by the mothers of the “Plaza de Mayo” in Buenos Aires in front of the Casa Rosada presidential palace, while trying to learn what had happened to their children, in public defiance of the government’s state terrorism intended to silence all opposition. For the mothers, their disappeared daughters and son are still alive… Buenos Aires. Argentina, April 2017. © Luca Bonacini. Marcha para la memoria y … kirchnerista

Peaceful march in the streets of Buenos Aires to remember the end of the military dictatorship, 41 years ago. This last 24th of march, not only the memory of the victims of this black period but also protests against Macri government, were at the center of the demonstration. Buenos Aires. Two moons

1606museoimmigrante

Staring from the window of the “hotel de los inmigrantes” in Buenos Aires, the gateway of  millions of immigrants arrived with the boats one century ago.

“Sorry for the inconvenience”…

1605disculpamolestiasK“Sorry for the inconvenience”. A mural with Cristina and Nestor Kirchner remembering… some dangerous “liaisons” (Baez, Lopez, etc.).

José Lopez, an ex-Kirchner government minister of public works has been arrested few weeks ago while throwing almost 10 millions dollars over the walls of a monastery. In a desperate creative attempt to excuse the “inconvenience”, Lopez told that he had “planned to donate the cash to the monastery”…

Roma day: smiling kids at school

1604romaincluschool2013

Two happy kids at school. Today, 8th of April, is the Roma international day. The Roma contribution to European and world culture (music, for instance) is disproportionately large and barely known in comparison to their social position (unfortunately well diffused by the media…). Vogosca, Bosnia and Herzegovina, October 2012. © Luca Bonacini.
